Make a mixture of fuller’s earth along with rose water and sandalwood powder in equal amounts. Once the mixture has become a paste, apply it onto the acne area. Let the paste dries up before it can be washed off. Do this treatment once a week for a better result.
7. Hot Washcloth or Warm Tea Bag
Hot washcloth or warm tea bag can help to open up the pores and clean the skin from dead skin, dirt and oil. This treatment works by surfacing the bacteria as well as the pus on the acne, making the skin clean and acne-free. For this treatment, prepare hot water that is almost too hot to be touched with bare hands. Soak the washcloth or tea bag into the hot water and place the washcloth or tea bag into the acne area. Do so by holding it gently for about 30 to 60 seconds. After the treatment, wash the face with face wash is advised, preferably the ones with scrub as it can help to remove the impurities that have been drawn out to the surface.
Using ice on the acne can help to relieve inflammation due to the hormonal acne. The same idea as treating sport injuries, cool temperature application is intended to slow the circulation of local blood as well as reduce the redness and swelling in the injured tissue. Using a paper towel to bag the ice, apply it onto the acne for 20 minutes and then take it off for 20 minutes before it can be proceed again. 9. Indian Lilac
